Coverage

The U.S. hail map, pulled from NOAA.

Severe hail is concentrated in a well-known corridor. The map below ranks every state by NOAA Storm Prediction Center climatology — so you can see at a glance whether your region lives in the storm belt. We are based in San Antonio and deploy into active zones.

Why these tiers

States ranked by severe-hail frequency.

Tiers are built from NOAA Storm Prediction Center climatology (severe hail ≥ 1″ diameter, averaged over 20 years). If you live in Tier 3, hail damage is a when, not an if. If you live in Tier 1, it’s less common — but when a supercell drops 2″ stones on your neighborhood, the damage is the same and the claim process is identical.
